About Us

Who are we?

We are a board game/craft beer and wine lounge opening in Mesa, Arizona. We will serve 16 craft beers on draft along with over 30 craft canned/bottled beer; a 40+ label wine list consisting of local and international varietals to choose from; a great selection of craft soda and coffee for the late night players. Of course we will have over 700 board game titles to choose from for our patrons to play while enjoying their drinks. We also showcase four 4.6 Elite Ultimate Game Tables for the large game groups along with our standard 3x3 and 3x5 tables to sit at comfortably.

Even though the party seems to hover around Mill Street, we wanted to locate ourselves in the Mesa/Gilbert area. With our location near MCC, our location is within reach of most out lying areas like Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, etc. 

We offer a 700+ free game library of board and card games that cover a wide variety of styles. The games can last a few minutes to a few hours and can be played by one or many players. Our shelves will have the games broken down to how many players the game can accommodate to help our guests choose the right game for their group size. Not sure what to play? Ask the staff and they will be happy to provide recommendations. 

From our Grand Opening and after, we will always be adding to the game library new or rare titles as well as rotating our draft beers every month to two months so that we give our guests something fresh and new constantly. 

We will be open 7 days a week from 12 noon to 1am. Since we do not serve food, we welcome our guests to bring in outside food. We just ask that no outside drinks are brought in.

The Business

I refer to the business as a "we" because of the support from the community and the people that have helped make this dream possible. The person behind all this is a first time small business owner named Gregg McCleary. I have been a gamer all my life, but over the last 7 years became a classically trained chef, certified Executive Sommelier and spent the last 4 of those years managing restaurants in Reno, Nevada. It was time to come back home to be with the community I moved away from. 

Finding the Key

Where are we at the moment...

We are currently working on the finishing details of the interior design. We are lining up all the vendors involved and beginning to purchase furniture, décor and tables. If all goes well with the final inspections, we will open between late April to early May. The actual date will be announced on our website and through our email list.
